I have a confession…
I only finished one book in April.
But it was the ONE book I wanted to finish in April: Good Omens by Neil Gaiman and Terry Pratchett! My review for it will go up soon over on Goodreads.
Thankfully, with Born Wolf almost ready to launch and a vacation coming up, it looks like I might actually get around to reading a bit more in May! I’m so excited!!
The reading list for this month should look a bit familiar:
Two of the books on the list have been there before:
- Soulless (Parasol Protectorate Series Book 1) by Gail Carriger – A recommendation from my dad, which was also mentioned very shortly thereafter by an author friend of mine. If it gets high marks from those two folks, I’m guaranteed to enjoy it. This one will probably be my read while we’re on the road.
- Outlining Your Novel: Map Your Way to Success (Helping Writers Become Authors Book 1) by K.M. Weiland – This is one of the first writing books I read when I started getting serious about writing. I’m excited to re-read it, especially because I’ll soon be diving into outlining for Book Three (ahem)! This will be my serious read, so it’ll probably wait until we return from our trip.
New to the list:
- Ravenheart by Dannika Dark – I’ve enjoyed most of the books in her various series. This is the second book in her latest, and I’m probably going to read it on the boat. Nothing like sitting in the sun and sipping a cocktail while you read about sexy vampires, amiright?
So there you go. Now, I wanna hear it: what’s on your reading list for May?
