so, what the hell is the unity universe, anyway?
It’s a place where the mundane world we know is only a thin veil over the real world – a world full of fantastic chaos, where supernatural beings are your neighbors, your bartenders, the tattoo artist down the street. It’s life cranked up to a hundred, and every single story is an invitation (from yours truly) to dive in headfirst. I want you here, and so do my characters, because the UNITY universe is all about belonging, and if you love this place, then you belong!
It’s magical and messy
In my universe, romance is never, ever neat and tidy. It can be fun, it can even be cozy, but it’s always got a quirk.
Picture this: a vampire – the very image of old-world elegance and class (and even if she’s a little tightly wound, she’s making her way just fine, thank you very much) – walks into a cozy rooftop bar. She’s just trying to have a drink. But then she locks eyes with the inked-up, snarky tattoo artist who owns the parlor down the street and has a loose-at-best affiliation with the local lion pride.
The chemistry? Immediate. The tension? So thick you could choke on it. And when they both realize the other is hiding a past that could blow up in their faces? Ohhhhh, my darling readers. That’s when the real fun begins.
We’re talking more than love stories, y’all. These are raw, messy, hilarious, and heart-wrenching journeys. It’s forbidden love between an angel and a demon (but not the way you think). It’s secret trysts that could start a war, connections so powerful they nearly defy Fate Herself. And you? Well, I’ve invited you in! Shifters: THE HEART OF THE FAMILY
Let’s see, so far we’ve met wolf shifters (obvs), a lion, a bear, a bird…yeah, I’ve got shifters! The Black pack has grown and changed over the course of six (SIX, y’all!) books so far, with one more to come, and I hope you’ll agree that they bring plenty of heart, heat, and humor with them. Wolves were the logical starting point for me because I knew found family would be a core theme in all my work. The warmth of the pack singe to my like little else – I adore writing their antics and banter because we all know they’re going to sit down to a huge family breakfast, regardless of what’s happened between them!
VAMPIRES: MORE SUGAR, LESS BITE (KINDA)
My vampires aren’t your typical mopey bloodsuckers. Thanks to some nifty modern science, they can day-walk, and many of them have kicked the blood habit in favor of my personal favorite vice: sugar. But don’t let their sweet teeth fool you. They are still apex predators – the original ones in my universe, in fact. You’ll get the full unfiltered story in the upcoming Crown series. Take Aveleiyn Crown, for example. Her tale is one of sheer, bloody-minded strength, and her cunning will make you question who the real monsters are. (Spoiler: it’s not always the ones with fangs…but…okay, yeah, it usually is.)
PROTECTORS & DRAGONS: THE GAME-CHANGERS
Anyone who’s read Brave Wolf (Black Wolf Book Six) knows I turned the typical angelic order on its head. My Protectors are celestial warriors, yes, but they have their own agendas, their own secrets, and their own brutal way of getting things done. And then there are the dragons. Oh, the dragons. They add a whole new level of glorious, terrifying spice to the mix. The origins of both races are tangled up in ways that will blow your mind, and the Crown series is where I’ll finally pull back the curtain. Some are looking for redemption. Others are just here to watch the world burn. Both make for one hell of a story.

I don’t write perfect people. I write flawed, chaotic, relatable characters who are just trying to figure their shit out while falling in love and fighting for their lives (no big deal, calendar’s hardly full).
